Our Objective/The Result

A long term decrease in the number of children working in illegal.explotative and low paid work, protection for those most at risk and access to better paid/secure work opportunities for the poorest and most marginalized children and young people that work in the garbage dump of Phnom Penh.

During this time of exciting change and growth at the Center for Children’s Happiness, the one thing that remains the same is our commitment to reaching……. We want to know with certainty that we are making a difference both locally and globally. As we faithfully carry out our mission of “…”, it’s necessary to examine the limitations of our current space and look ahead toward future growth.

We know it takes more than just a building to change lives. It takes people who sincerely care…

“Canodia House” campaign is a two-year capital stewardship campaign to help raise funds in order to expand our facilities at the Centre for Children’s Happiness to change more lives. We believe all of us are going to experience.

Take a look at the opportunities that we can make for the children:

  • A new XXX square foot building
  • A home for XX youth to live and develop their future
  • Opportunities for youth training and mentoring
  • 10% of all pledges will go towards vocation programming projects
  • Training in financial management and life skills

We will be able to bring out XX children from the dump.
There is no limit to what we can accomplished together.
Project Plans
“A building to some. A Future to Others.”

The new building project will include:

  • A new 34,000 square foot, 2,000 seat auditorium
  • A renovation and redesign of the current auditorium that will include a welcome center, additional Capstone seating and entrance, wraparound staircase to balcony seating, the main entrance to the new auditorium, small gathering areas for fellowship, dining areas for large events and additional restrooms
  • Existing space retro-fitted for Children’s Ministry expansion
  • 200 additional parking spaces on the east side of the building

An estimated cost of $14.7 Million.
