Together We Can Do Great Things

There are many reasons to donate. If people saw first hand the way people live in Cambodia, I believe most would want to help. It’s hard to watch a child pick through garbage in a dump or working in a shop or roaming the streets alone. I wish that everyone could walk in the garbage and know the reality of so many in this world. It’s very difficult for one person alone to change the World, but together we can do great things.

There are many reasons to give:

We Live in a Great Country - Canada is an incredible country and we’re very fortunate to live here. Wealthy nations have a responsibility to help those that are poor. Much of the violence in the World today is the result of inequalities among nations and people. We may only affect a few, but a few is the only place to start.

We Are Changing Lives - We are literally changing lives 100%. We are taking kids out of a garbage dump. We are training youth for an independent life free of begging. We are sending children to school. We are making a real difference.

A Personal Experience - Life takes on a different meaning when you decide to help others less fortunate. We want you to learn about this country and know its kind people. Through helping others, we help ourselves.

Our Money is Very Strong - We can make great changes for a small amount of money. Most people in Cambodia that work full time make $40 a month. Many live all together in one house, because they have little money and need to help each other. It doesn’t take lots of money to make significant change in a country like Cambodia.

Why should we give? Because… if nobody gave, these children would still be on the street.
